XMUM Co-Hosts Three International Conferences with IEREK
During 3-5 December 2021, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) has successfully co-hosted three international conferences - the 4th Edition of the Future and Smart Cities, Resilient and Responsible Architecture & Urbanism, the 7th Edition of the Earth Observation for Environmental Changes and the 9th Edition of the Geo-information Technologies for Natural Disaster Management - under the theme “Chances, Challenges & Changes in Environmental Enhancement”.
Queen Mary University of London Signs MOAs with XMUM
On 10 May 2021, Queen Mary University of London (QMUL) officially signed two Memoranda of Agreement (MOA) with Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) in the presence of Prof. Colin Grant, QMUL Vice-Principal (International) and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Zhang Ying, Assistant President of XMUM.
XMUM Forges New Collaborative Partnerships with 4 Global Universities
To offer a wide range of further study opportunities for its students, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) signed 4 new collaborative agreements with University of Auckland, Massey University, Dublin Business School, and University of Strathclyde in February 2020. Cardiff University Signs Progression Agreements with XMUM
On 16 October 2019, Cardiff University (CU) signed the Progression Agreement with Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), which enables XMUM students from Arts & Social Sciences, Business, Information Communication Technology, Sciences as well as Engineering programmes to be admitted into Cardiff University’s Postgraduate programmes after completing their undergraduate studies at XMUM.
Zambia’s Minister of General Education Visits XMUM
His Honourable David Mabumba, Zambia’s Minister of General Education, visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 8 August 2019. Accompanied by XMUM President Prof. Wang Ruifang, His Honourable was briefed about the development of XMUM and toured around the campus.During the visit, His Honourable David Mabumba inspected XMUM’s IT hub as well as several teaching and research laboratories of XMUM’s China-ASEAN College of Marine Science. He also met with representatives of Zambian students currently studying at XMUM and kindly inquired about their lives here at the university.
Newcastle University Business School Signs MoA with XMUM
Newcastle University Business School (NUBS) signed Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) with Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 24 July 2019 in the presence of NUBS Director, Prof. Sharon Mavin and XMUM Assistant President, Associate Professor Dr. Zhang Ying. The signing ceremony was witness by NUBS team as well as the Dean and Assistant Dean of XMUM School of Economic and Management.
