Xiamen University Malaysia Signs MoU with China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia
On the morning of 9 May 2024, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was successfully signed between Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) and the China Enterprises Chamber of Commerce in Malaysia (CECCM), fostering cooperation in talent cultivation, scientific and technological innovation, industrial services, internships and training.The ceremony was attended by Prof. Dr. Wang Ruifang, President of XMUM, Ni Qingjiu, President of CECCM, esteemed members of the CECCM council, representatives from the CECCM member units, as well as relevant leaders and department heads of XMUM.

Experience the Future of Digital Media at XMUM DMT Showcase
The inaugural DMT Showcase Event at Xiamen University Malaysia, hosted by the Digital Media Technology Programme, School of Computing and Data Science, took place from April 26 to 27, 2024.The event aimed to showcase the diverse talents of DMT students and position them for internship opportunities in the gaming industry and related digital media sectors. PhD Student Awarded IChemE Andrew Legacy Bursary 2024 for Catalysis Summer School
Ooi Khim May, a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Xiamen University Malaysia, has been awarded the prestigious Andrew Legacy Bursary for the year 2024 session.This bursary allows up to 20 PhD, EngD or MSc students to attend the week-long summer school, “Catalysis: Fundamentals and Practice”, which will be held at the University of Liverpool from 24 to 28 June 2024. Offered by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) under the Andrew Legacy Scheme, this bursary aims to support researchers working on projects related to heterogeneous catalysis.
