Software Engineering Team Wins Bronze Prize at International Innovation ARSVOT Malaysia
A research project by staff and students from School of Computing and Data Science, Xiamen University Malaysia won the Bronze Award at the International Innovation ARSVOT Malaysia 2022, an exhibition held by Association for Researcher of Skills and Vocational Training.

Software Engineering Student Wins Third Prize at 13th Lan Qiao Cup Professional Computer Contest (Fujian Province)
Liu Aofan, a second-year student from XMUM Software Engineering Programme, has won third prize at the 13th Lan Qiao Cup Professional Computer Contest (Fujian province).Hosted by the Talent Exchange Center of the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China, Lan Qiao Cup is the largest professional computer contest in China. More than 1,200 colleges and universities in 31 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions, including Peking University and Tsinghua University, participate in the competition.

Two research papers by Dr. Burra Venkata Durga Kumar and students from XMUM School of Computing and Data Science have been accepted by 2022 IEEE International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Computer Applications (ICAICA 2022), which will be held in Dalian, China, from 24 to 26 June 2022.

Software Engineering Student Receives Silver Award at EDGII 2022
XMUM School of Computing and Data Science congratulates Tan Xin Yii, a 2019/04 intake undergraduate of Software Engineering programme, on receiving the Silver Award at Educational Design, Games, Invention & Innovation Competition 2022 (EDGII), which took place from 28 November 2021 to 15 April 2022 virtually. Dr. Burra Venkata Durga Kumar is the research’s supervisor.
