The United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) in collaboration with the government of Thailand appointed Dr. Tee Keng Kok, Director of MBA Centre, Xiamen University Malaysia, as a facilitator for “Science, Technology and Innovative (STI) Capacity Building Programme on Female Researchers and Entrepreneurs to Promote Bio-Circular-Green Economic (BCG) Model”.

The capacity building workshop was held from 6-13 August 2023 in Bangkok, Thailand.

The workshop aims to provide a platform for female researchers and entrepreneurs to learn from Thailand’s expertise in implementing the BCG model, share best practices in technology and innovation for BCG growth, and network.

Dr. Tee Keng Kok has vast experience running Science Leadership Programs for the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) since 2017. He obtained his PhD in Management Communication from the University of Waikato, New Zealand. Apart from being an academic, he is also a Certified Professional Trainer, and he is passionate about promoting Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM).
