The Business Case Study Competition 2025 (BCSC 2025) concluded on 5 and 6 July 2025 at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) and Menara Prudential Malaysia, bringing together more than 100 high school and university students from Malaysia and Singapore.

Organised by the Xiamen University Malaysia Business Association (XMBA), the annual international competition offers students the opportunity to address real-world business challenges through structured case analysis. This year’s competition was supported by Title Sponsor Finergy, an agency of Prudential Malaysia, and Platinum Sponsor Persys Technologies Berhad.

A total of 27 teams competed across two rounds - preliminary and final - focusing on key themes including the financial industry, business sustainability, digital transformation, and innovation. The format encouraged participants to apply critical thinking, demonstrate teamwork, and sharpen their presentation skills.

Ahead of the final round, participants attended workshops and mentorship sessions delivered by industry professionals. These sessions offered practical insights into business practices and career development, further enriching the learning experience.

BCSC 2025 also served as a platform for meaningful interaction among students, academics, and industry representatives. Through mentorship and networking opportunities, participants gained valuable exposure to the business world, while the event contributed to XMUM’s ongoing efforts to foster industry-academic collaboration.

Following the conclusion of this year's event, XMBA has started preparing for BCSC 2026 to further enhance student engagement throgh practical business challenges.
