With the theme "AI empowering Innovation and Development of Internet Technologies", the competition was held under the guidance of the Expert Committee on Promoting Large-Scale Deployment and Application of IPv6, and organized by the China Education and Research Network Center (CERNET). It focused on the integration of IPv6 technologies across multiple domains, attracting high-caliber teams from universities and research institutions nationwide, making the contest highly competitive.

The award-winning project proposed an innovative and efficient in-band network telemetry solution, enabling continuous network state awareness and rapid fault localization. By achieving an effective balance between measurement overhead and performance, the team developed a scalable and replicable technical solution and prototype system, providing reliable support for efficient IPv6 network operation and maintenance.

The project was mentored by Senior Engineer Chen Xiaochou, Director of XMUM IT Centre, together with Assoc. Prof. Xie Yi and Engineer Zheng Shaojie from the main campus.
