Alibaba Cloud Partners with Xiamen University Malaysia to Empower Digital Talents for the Future
On 19 May 2020, Alibaba Cloud, the data intelligence backbone of Alibaba Group, signed an MOU with Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) to enhance the education and skills of the cloud computing staff and students through the Alibaba Cloud Academic Empowerment Program (AAEP).
XMUM Co-Organized 2nd Malaysia-China University-Industry Matching Forum
On May 13, XMUM Research Management Center and Innovation Center jointly organized the 2nd University-Industry Matching Forum together with TusStar Malaysia. Focusing on artificial intelligence and information technology, the Forum has attracted four Chinese enterprises as participants. This online forum aims at facilitating discussions on strategic approaches to stimulate university-industry collaborative research from early stages.

Chemical Engineering Undergraduate Publishes in Angewandte Chemie as First Author
Research Management Center congratulates undergraduate student Zhang Wenhao and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ong Wee Jun, both from XMUM Chemical Engineering Programme, School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, on their success in publishing the review entitled “Z-Scheme Photocatalytic Systems for Carbon Dioxide Reduction: Where Are We Now?”, as the first author and the corresponding author respectively, in Angewandte Chemie International Edition.
XMUM EEE Undergraduates Publish Research Results on Innovative Optical Instruments
The Research Management Center congratulates eight (8) undergraduate students from XMUM Electrical and Electronics Engineering Programme (EEE) on publishing two SCI Q1 papers proposing three types of new absolute optical instruments. Their research is conducted under the guidance of Prof. Chen Huanyang from School of Electronic Science and Engineering of Xiamen University (XMU).
