Two XMUM Scholars Among 2025 Most Cited Chinese Researchers
On 30 January, Elsevier officially released the 2025 list of Most Cited Chinese Researchers. Prof. Ong Wee Jun from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering and Professor Chen Huanyang from the Department of Physics (seconded from XMU) at Xiamen University Malaysia were both selected.
Prof. Ong Wee Jun Among World Top 0.05% Highly Ranked Scholars by ScholarGPS
ScholarGPS has released its 2025 Highly Ranked Scholars list, recognising the world’s top 0.05% of scientists based on research productivity, citation impact, and publication quality. Prof. Ong Wee Jun from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, Xiamen University Malaysia is listed in both the Lifetime ranking, placing 3rd in the graphitic carbon nitride category, and the Prior Five Years ranking, placing 4,431st across all fields.
XMUM Expert Trains Malaysian Officials on Bioenergy
Assoc. The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre congratulates undergraduate student Theresa Grace from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for winning the Gold Award in the Innovation and Creativity Excellence category of the poster competition at TECHNOVATION Week 2025, held from 1 to 5 December at SEGi University, Kota Damansara.
