University of Cincinnati Shares Postgraduate Opportunities with XMUM Students
Ms. Oxana Prokhorova from College of Engineering and Applied Science (CEAS), University of Cincinnati (UC) met XMUM Engineering students on 28 March 2019 to share information on Master programmes at CEAS. UC will grant XMUM students special privileges, which include:
- Postgraduate study options after completing 4 years of undergraduate studies at XMUM:
Master of Engineering (MEng) with no thesis requirement within one year (only coursework with capstone project/internship) at UC.
Master of Science (MSc) within 1.5 to 2 years (research based). - Scholarship for students:
Approximately USD10,000 waivers will be given to MEng students from XMUM for tuition and other fees (subject to annual price adjustment).
All full-time graduate study students will be considered for financial aid.
MSc students can apply for Graduate Assistantships where CEAS offers tuition and other fee waivers from USD20,800 to USD29,346 per year. - Special considerations for XMUM students:
English Proficiency Test (IETLS, TOEFL, etc.) and GRE are waived for XMUM students. - Aero System Operation (AESOP) Programme:
A practice-oriented programme jointly conducted with University of Bordeaux (UBx), France.
Study at both UC and UBx.
Graduate will receive an MEng degree from UC and an International Diploma from UBx within one year of study.
No requirements for undergraduate background in aero.
