X-Scan Armguard Donates 10,000 Face Masks to XMUM Staff and Students
SEPANG, March 27 – Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) received a donation of 10,000 face masks from X-Scan Armguard, the security company that operates at the campus.
“We hope it will lighten the pressure of the University to look for face masks to protect all the staff and students concerned,” said Tony Ooi, CEO of X-Scan Armguard in his letter addressed to XMUM.
This gesture is also regarded as a part of their corporate social responsibility towards the community, according to Tony Ooi.
The University management expressed their sincere gratitude towards the support given by X-Scan Armguard, which will help the University to keep its staff and students safe during the pandemic.
Since the early phase of the COVID-19 outbreak, XMUM has tried its best to supply face masks to staff and students as a basic protective measure. In addition to this, cleaners and canteen staff were required to wear face masks while working on campus.
X-Scan Armguard has been operating at XMUM since 2015. Throughout the 4 years of their service, the professionalism of their security guards has been spoken highly of by a large number of staff and students.
