On 7 December 2018, Wang Yanan Institute for Studies in Economics (WISE) and School of Economics (SoE), Xiamen University China visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), and shared information on postgraduate studies opportunities with XMUM students. 

For students from countries other than China, WISE provides 2 years' full-time International Graduate programmes, covering Finance, Financial Engineering, Management Economics, Industrial Economics, and Population, Resources and Environmental Economics, to name a few. For China students, apart from regular postgraduate programmes, WISE holds joint master’s programmes. Selected students can do one-year study at WISE before heading to a desired university overseas for 1-2 years of study and graduate with degrees from both universities. Universities collaborating with WISE include Fordham University (US), Cornell University (US), University of California, Riverside (US), Cardiff University (UK), ESSEC Business School (France), and Erasmus University Rotterdam (Netherland). For students from China, WISE also offers preparatory courses for a variety of internationally prestigious universities, including University of Wisconsin-Madison, Australian National University, Singapore Management University. Undergraduate students of all background are welcome to apply. Students will be equipped with necessary knowledges on Economics, Finance, Math, Business English, etc. and receive professional services on courses admissions. Undergraduate students attending the preparatory courses for postgraduate programmes can choose to enrol in any postgraduate programme partnering with WISE as long as the minimum entry requirements are fulfilled.
