The workshop featured three distinguished speakers: Mr. Chan Wai Kean, Mr. Adrian Yao, and Ms. Sheila M.N., all prominent educators with extensive experience in secondary and higher education.

This interactive session encompassed a variety of engaging activities, including an insightful lecture on education, a hands-on teaching session, and motivational speeches. The event also offered participants potential internship opportunities, with two students possibly interning under Mr. Adrian Yao as secondary school teachers.

The opening lecture provided an overview of essential topics such as lesson planning and classroom management - key foundations for aspiring educators. With well-crafted slides and expert explanations, the session ensured participants could grasp the concepts and apply them effectively during the practical components of the workshop.

In the practical teaching session, participants were divided into groups and took turns leading mock classes. Their peers, acting as a disruptive class, tested their ability to implement the newly learned strategies and manage classroom dynamics.

The workshop concluded with powerful speeches from the speakers, who inspired students to pursue their ambitions in education and shape the next generation of learners.

"Be a lightbulb, not a candle. Candles burn out, but lightbulbs endure," remarked Mr. Chan Wai Kean, emphasizing the importance of educators' mental health and the risks of burnout.

Reflecting on the experience, Jason Koo, a second-year English student, shared:

"The workshop offered an incredibly insightful look into the teaching profession, especially for those considering a career in education. From lesson planning to classroom management, the activities were both enjoyable and enlightening. Even for those not planning to become educators, it was an invaluable and successful event."
