Executive - Student Affairs Office (China)
Role and Key Responsibilities
- Organize and coordinate new Chinese student orientation to facilitate smooth transition and onboarding for incoming Chinese students.
- Assist incoming Chinese students with new student visa application procedures, and address pre-arrival enquiries from students and their parents/guardians.
- Maintain and manage Chinese student files and documentation in compliance with institutional requirements.
- Monitor Chinese students' academic progress and implement early warning systems to identify Chinese students at risk of academic difficulties.
- Identify and provide targeted support services for Chinese students facing academic, personal, or adjustment challenges.
- Liaise between Chinese students and the visa department to facilitate annual visa renewal processes and visa cancellation procedures upon graduation.
- Assist graduating Chinese students with all graduation-related procedures and documentation requirements.
- Handle the dispatch and management of graduation certificates and official records for Chinese student alumni.
- Coordinate and collaborate with various internal departments to ensure seamless and comprehensive support for Chinese students.
- Continuously improve service quality and Chinese student experience through proactive communication and problem-solving.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Minimum a full-time Bachelor's degree
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and AI-assisted research tools
- Bilingual proficiency in English and Chinese (reading and writing)
- Strong adaptability and communication skills; a background in psychology is a plus
