XMUM Students Participate in WikiSelera 2025: Francophone Gastronomy
On 7 November 2025, four students from the English Language and Literature programme, who are also taking French as a major elective and second foreign language, represented Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) in WikiSelera 2025: Francophone Gastronomy.Organised by Wikimedia Malaysia in collaboration with the French Embassy in Malaysia and Alliance Française Kuala Lumpur, the event aimed to produce a bilingual Malay-French recipe book on Francophone cuisine, giving participants the opportunity to explore Francophone culture while contributing to global open knowledge.
