6 XMUM Academics Secure Research Funding by the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme 2023
The Research and Postgraduate Centre extends its congratulations to six XMUM academics who have secured the prestigious grants under the Ministry of Higher Education’s Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS). The six recipients, from School of Electrical Engineering & Artificial Intelligence, School of Energy & Chemical Engineering, China-ASEAN College of Marine Sciences, and School of Economics & Management, have collectively been awarded a total of RM 639,946.

Dr. Neoh Seong Lee and Team Re-create Aquatic Ecosystem in the Lab
Inspired by the amazing self-sustainability of the natural ecosystem, Dr. Neoh Seong Lee from China-ASEAN College of Marine Sciences, Xiamen University Malaysia launched Project Refugium, an on-going aquaculture-based project to re-create an aquatic ecosystem in the laboratory while maintaining its form and functionality.
