CME Student Among Top Five at BEM Young Engineering Innovation Trophy 2026
A Year 4 Chemical Engineering undergraduate, Grace Theresa, represented Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) at the BEM Young Engineering Innovation Trophy 2026, held as part of the National Engineering Convention (NEC) 2026 and organised by the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM). She was shortlisted as one of 15 finalists under the Washington Accord Category and placed among the top five at the national competition.

ASEAN Digital Economy and IP Summit Brings Regional Experts Together at XMUM
On 12 May, the 2026 ASEAN Digital Economy and Intellectual Property Summit & the 4th XMUM Intellectual Property and Innovation Forum was successfully held at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM). On 19 May 2025, the Intellectual Property and Innovation Research Centre (IPIRC) at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) will host the International Forum on “Intellectual Property Innovation and Governance in the Digital Economy Era”.
