Lifeguard - Operation & Maintenance Office
Role and Key Responsibilities
- Monitor all swimmers to ensure they are in safe condition and prepare for any emergency
- Provide emergency care and treatment as required until the arrival of emergency medical service
- Able to act quickly and appropriately to secure the safety of swimmers in the event of an emergency
- Ensure all users are advised to the safe keeping
- Check the Ph level of the swimming pool daily
- Maintain the swimming pool in the highest hygiene standard
- Check the motorize equipment in functioning condition
- Participate with swimming club for basic swimming lessons
- Assist swimming club to set up for swimming & water polo competition during sport day
- Minor gym room equipment maintenance
- Maintain outdoor and indoor sport facilities and equipment
- Prepare and maintain activities reports
- Perform miscellaneous job-related to duties as assigned
- Present professional appearance and attitude at all times, and maintain a high standard of customer service
Requirements / Qualifications
- 2 years lifeguard experience preferred
- Ability to pass a pre-employment practical skills test in the water
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations
- Strong knowledge of CPR and emergency medical procedure
- Able to work on weekends and evenings
- Able to prepare routine administrative paperwork
- Excellent customer service skills
