Resident Engineer (Mechanical & Electrical) - Construction Office
Role and Key Responsibilities
- Manage the site organization and activities.
- Inspect and supervise the works in accordance to drawings, specifications and all other contract provisions.
- Assign works and supervise the Inspector Of Works, be fully responsible for the inspections and supervisions performed by the Inspector Of Works.
- Ensure the required standard of quality and accuracy of works are achieved
- Test and examine the materials used in accordance to specifications and contract provisions.
- Prepare and maintain site records and reports.
- Monitor and report the progress of works.
- Verify and sign work done by the contractor.
- Coordinate and liaise with the consultants and contractors on all aspects of the job.
- Carry out other site administration works as instructed by client and consultants.
Requirements / Qualifications
- A recognized Degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 10 years working experience with at least 5 years' experience in construction supervision of mechanical & electrical works.
- Preferably a Professional Engineer, registered with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia
