The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Associate Professor Dr. Mahdi H. Miraz, from the School of Computing and Data Science, Xiamen University Malaysia, for being selected as one of the fellows for the 2023 European Alliance for Innovation (EAI).
EAI is a non-profit organization with tens of thousands of members from over 170 countries that provide a leading global platform for research collaboration, fair evaluation and transparent recognition.
Each year, EAI members are selected for recognition for their achievements in academia as well as their outstanding contributions to the EAI community.
The EAI has 260,000 members and only 46 have been selected for the award this year. Among the 46 selected participants, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahdi H. Miraz is the only recipient from Malaysia.
The status of EAI fellow is awarded to individuals with extraordinary accomplishments in their respective domains in academia, such as playing key roles to the publication of new research as well as the furthering of progress, and with a record of outstanding service to the EAI Community.
| Dr. Mahdi H. Miraz is an Associate Professor and the Research Coordinator at the School of Computing and Data Science, Xiamen University Malaysia, where he also leads the Blockchain, IoT and Networking Research Group (BITNet RG). Dr. Mahdi has been named amongst the World’s Top 2% Scientists List (consecutively for 2022 & 2023) jointly created by Stanford University, US and Scopus. He is also the 2019 recipient of Owen Glyndŵr Award (UK) for the WU Alumni for promotion of Education and Research at the international level. |
