FAQ

1. What are the collaborations between Xiamen University Malaysia and partner universities?

A: Generally, there are two types of collaborations:

i. Postgraduate Study Progression Pathways

A progression pathway indicates a collaboration with a partner university that defines the admission criteria to facilitate students' academic progress towards a postgraduate degree. Through this simplified pathway, students from our campus may progress into a postgraduate degree at the esteemed institution with certain privileges, such as a tuition fee discount or an exemption on the English language proficiency result.

ii. Study Abroad

This framework aims to provide opportunities for undergraduate students to broaden their academic experiences through student mobility. Under this framework, students will be able to study abroad for a semester or an academic year, and the majors are usually not subject-specific.

**Please keep in mind that not all partner universities provide postgraduate study progression pathways and study abroad, as some discussions with partner universities are still ongoing.
