Abstract
One feature of elliptic partial differential equations is maximal principle. This principle has a strict requirement that the domain should be bounded with boundary values given so to solve the equation properly. In this talk, we will apply this principle to the minimal surface equations defined on unbounded domains with incomplete boundary values. This is a joint work with professors Hwang and Liang of Academia Sinica in Taiwan. Obviously, we could repeat the same construction for other elliptic PDE and I will talk more about this.
