Biography

Tang Ying Ying is a lecturer in the Department of Journalism and Advertising at Xiamen University Malaysia. She studied in Beijing and Perth, obtaining a Master of Arts degree in International Journalism from Communication University of China and a Bachelor of Communications degree in Mass Communication from Edith Cowan University. She has been in the field of journalism and media education for over 11 years. Her current research focuses on Malaysian Chinese youth, clan association and social capital.
