Biography

Nazrul is a visual artist, educator, and PADI-certified instructor with a strong focus on photography, particularly underwater photography. Holding an MA in Visual Communication and New Media and a BA(Hons) in Photography from Universiti Teknologi MARA, he has built a distinguished career in both teaching and creative practice. 

As a lecturer in the Visual Art Department, he has inspired and mentored countless students. In addition to teaching and photography career, he is actively involved in NGO work to preserve underwater ecosystems, combining their artistic skills with a commitment to environmental conservation. 

With a passion for exploring new frontiers in visual arts and a deep commitment to protecting marine life, he continues to push the boundaries of photography while nurturing future talent in Malaysia.
