Biography

Dr. Tony Hii Chang Soon received his PhD in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Biomedical Engineering & AI) from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia. He is currently a lecturer at the School of Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, Xiamen University Malaysia.

His research focuses on AI-driven biomedical engineering solutions, particularly marker-free gait and motion analysis for neurological disorder monitoring. He also works on computer vision, medical imaging, and intelligent healthcare systems, with wider interests in robotics and autonomous systems. Dr. Hii is dedicated to advancing interdisciplinary innovation and mentoring students to apply engineering and AI technologies to solve real-world healthcare and industry challenges.
