Biography
Dr. Ruttab Maryam is a researcher and academic specializing in Software Engineering and Computer Science. She holds a PhD in Software Engineering (Computer Science), MS in Computer Science, and MSc in Telecommunications, with a strong foundation in Science at the undergraduate level. Her research expertise encompasses Deep Learning, Machine Learning, Semantic Web Technologies, Ontology Engineering, and Intelligent Adaptive Systems.
Dr. Maryam’s recent work focuses on designing a self-adaptive ontology and sentiment analysis-based CNN framework for real-time rumor detection over social media, with enhance adaptiveness and performance. Her research contributes to advancing knowledge representation, reasoning, and intelligent data classification models within dynamic and complex information environments.
She is proficient in using advanced research and analytical tools, including Protégé, SPSS, Weka, and Google Colab, and is passionate about bridging semantic technologies with deep learning for intelligent decision-making systems. Dr. Maryam has also received recognition for her academic achievements, including a Silver Medal in the GREX Poster Competition.

Fake News Detection, Ontology Design, Self-Adaptive Ontologies, Adaptive Frameworks, Social Media Data Analysis, Rumour & Misinformation Detection, Text Pre-processing and Sentiment Analysis.
