Biography
Dr. Lee Sui Ping is currently a Lecturer at the School of Computing and Data Science, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMU). Since 2024, she has also served as the Huawei ICT Academy Administrator at XMU.
Dr. Lee has more than 10 years of industry experience in the telecommunications and information technology sectors. Before joining XMU, she was a 5G Trainer at Huawei’s Global Training Center, where she delivered specialized ICT training to professionals from leading organizations such as Huawei, Panasonic, MIMOS, XL Axiata, Telkomsel, Mobicom, Orange, the Egyptian Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, and the Ministry of Communications of Kuwait. She has also held various consulting and technical roles across 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G projects with Huawei, ZTE, and NeraTel.
In addition to her teaching and research activities, Dr. Lee provides consultation related to embedded systems and IoT applications, focusing on system design, device integration, and intelligent control solutions.
She is a Senior Member of the IEEE and a Graduate Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia. Dr. Lee regularly serves as a reviewer for IEEE conferences and has received multiple IEEE awards recognizing her research achievements in AI-based cancer diagnosis, AI-enhanced radar interferometry, and phase unwrapping.
