Biography
Tiong-Sik Ng is currently an Assistant Professor at Xiamen University Malaysia. He earned his Bachelor of Engineering (Hons.) Electronics Majoring in Computer and Master in Science (Information Technology) at Multimedia University, Malaysia. In 2025, he obtained his Doctorate in Engineering degree from Yonsei University, South Korea.
During his Bachelor’s and Master’s studies, his research was focused on cryptography and its application, alongside provable security. During his Doctoral studies, his research expanded to artificial intelligence and deep learning, with a particular emphasis on biometrics recognition, multimodal biometrics, and biometric template protection.
