Biography
Dr. Ali has been serving as an Assistant Professor at Xiamen University Malaysia since 2022. He has taught a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses, including Design and Analysis of Algorithms and ARM Assembly Language. He earned his Ph.D. in Computer Science in 2020, demonstrating a strong academic foundation and commitment to advancing computing technologies.
His research interests span several key areas of modern computing, including Parallel Computing, Blockchain, Networking and Distributed Systems, Computer Security, and Cybersecurity. He continues to engage in teaching, research, and collaborative projects aimed at fostering technological innovation and preparing students for future challenges in computer science.

• Currently working on the project “Securing IoT Networks Through Decentralised Trust Evaluation Using FedGNNs and Lightweight Blockchain.”
• Previously worked on the project “A High-Radix Hierarchical Interconnection Network for Networks-on-Chip,” which led to multiple publications.
• Served as a Research Assistant at the Faculty of Information and Communication Technology, International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) from 2015 to 2019, with research focused on parallel computer systems.
