Prof. Chen Shaodong from the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Xiamen University Malaysia has edited and published a new book titled Synopsis of the Golden Chamber: Clinical Reasoning in Practice（金匮要略临证思维）. 

This book blends classical TCM with modern clinical practices, offering readers valuable insights into diagnosis, treatment, and patient care. Through a series of clinical case studies, it emphasizes the practical application of TCM principles, providing actionable strategies for diagnosis and treatment based on classical Chinese medical theory.

It also highlights the importance of combining traditional TCM knowledge with contemporary medical approaches, presenting a holistic view of how classical wisdom can be applied in the modern medical landscape. This book is aimed at undergraduate and graduate students of TCM, clinical practitioners, and anyone interested in improving their clinical skills through classical methods.

Prof. Chen Shaodong, the dean of School of TCM and a recognized expert in the field, has authored and contributed to numerous research projects and publications, with more than 70 papers and over 10 books to his name. His contributions have significantly advanced the practice and understanding of TCM both in academic and clinical settings.
