Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lim Ren Jye, Medical Director and Consultant at Sunway TCM Centre, delivered a guest lecture titled "Your Future in TCM: From Local Practice to Global Impact" at the School of Traditional Chinese Medicine (STCM), Xiamen University Malaysia, on 10 October 2025.

A dual-trained practitioner in both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine with over 20 years of experience, Dr. Lim Ren Jye currently serves under Sunway Healthcare Group and was recently appointed as a member of STCM’s Industry Advisory Panel (IAP).

During the session, Dr. Lim Ren Jye shared valuable insights on real-world opportunities in TCM, essential skills for professional growth, and the evolving role of TCM in both local and global healthcare. He encouraged students to stay curious, build strong clinical and research foundations, and embrace innovation to advance traditional medicine in modern practice.

Following the lecture, Dr. Lim Ren Jye met with student representatives and academic staff to discuss curriculum enhancement, student development, and current industry needs, providing meaningful input to further strengthen the School’s academic-industry collaboration.
