Pre-Internship TCM Proficiency Exam Held to Empower Students for Clinical Practice

The pre-internship Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) proficiency exam was successfully conducted on 6 September, 2024, to help students review the TCM theoretical knowledge acquired during their first to fourth years of study, laying a solid foundation for their upcoming clinical internships.

A total of 71 students participated in the exam, with venues set up at Xiamen University’s Xiang’an Hospital (Siming Campus), Longyan TCM Hospital, and Tong'an District TCM Hospital.

The exam was supervised by a team of invigilators, including Dr. Wang Yujie and Dr. Chen Zexu from TCM Department of XMU School of Medicine, along with Xu Shuixian from the Department of Medical Education at Tong'an District TCM Hospital.

This exam was a comprehensive assessment of students' knowledge and a key step in their transition from classroom learning to clinical practice, ensuring they are well-prepared for their upcoming internships.
