XMUM Holds the First 5-min Research Project Competition

To provide XMUM postgraduate students with a platform to showcase their research to an audience of multidisciplinary background, Research Management Center and Innovation Center have jointly organized the first 5-min Research Project Competition on 30 November 2021. 

This competition took place online with 14 students from School of Energy and Chemical Engineering as participants. Poh Wen Siong and Hoo Do Yee, both first-year postgraduate students, won the first prizes with their presentations of “Powering the Battery of Tomorrow with Microscopic ‘Eggs’” and “Turning Waste into Wonder Material - Nanocellulose” respectively.

Their success would surely encourage more of our students to showcase their research findings in global competitions in the future. Below is the list of the prize winners and the titles of their presentations.
