NESE Student Wins Best Oral Presentation Award at 7th International Conference on Low Carbon and Asia Beyond

Chin Min Yee, a master's student from New Energy Science and Engineering Programme (NESE), XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, has won the Best Oral Presentation Award at the 7th International Conference on Low Carbon and Asia Beyond.

With the title of Exploring the Life Cycle Environmental Performance of Different Microbial Fuel Cell Configurations, the paper she presented at the conference is a collaborative work between Universiti Teknologi Malaysia and Xiamen University Malaysia.

Phuang Zhen Xin, another XMUM student from XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering co-authored the paper, while Dr. Woon Kok Sin from XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering is the paper’s corresponding author.

Organized by Universiti Teknologi Malaysia, the 7th International Conference on Low Carbon and Asia Beyond is a high-impact platform, bringing together researchers and stakeholders from academia, government and private sectors, to share knowledge and experiences for the transformation towards low-carbon development in Asia and beyond.
