The inaugural Final Year Project (FYP) poster presentation for the students from Chemical Engineering Programme, School of Energy and Chemical Engineering was held on 21 Dec 2022 at A3 Ground Floor. 

About 50 final-year students from CME1902 and CME1904 intakes presented their FYPs during the event. This presentation allowed students to present and defend their research findings to the examiners and their peers, as well as to improve their communication abilities and network skills. The areas of presentation include green catalysis, sustainable materials, system engineering, analytical chemistry, sustainable bio-products, and green technologies.

Prof. Chen Binghui, the Dean of the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, delivered the opening remark. He pointed out that Chemical Engineering research plays an important role in the development of innovative and sustainable solutions for today’s most important problems, such as energy, water, food, and the environment.

The FYP coordinators, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yong Wai Fen and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ong Wee Jun, on behalf of Chemical Engineering, also attended the event.
