Dr. Andrew Ng Kay Lup Awarded ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship 2021
The Research Management Center congratulates Dr. Andrew Ng Kay Lup from the Department of Chemical Engineering, XMUM School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for being chosen as the recipient of the ASEAN-China Young Leaders Scholarship (ACYLS).
Dr. Andrew Ng has received ACYLS for two years in a row. As an ACYLS awardee, he will undertake a fully-funded short-term research project on energy storage and conversion materials with Prof. Lu Jianguo from the School of Material Science and Engineering, Zhejiang University, China.
ACYLS is a dedicated project for nationals of ASEAN countries, especially young and promising professionals with working experience in ASEAN member states. The aim of the ACYLS is to increase people-to-people exchanges, strengthen educational cooperation and promote academic exchanges and linkages between China and ASEAN member states, in an effort to build a closer community of shared future.
