From 23 to 25 October 2025, the Digital Media Technology (DMT) Programme at Xiamen University Malaysia successfully held the DMT Student Showcase 2025 at the A3 Ground Floor and Mini Cinema. The event featured a variety of projects developed by DMT students during the past semester.

Industry guests from DMT-related companies, including Apex Tech Studio, Creatinno Tech, 1+1 Studios, IGDA Malaysia, Inspidea, Itch.io, Lemon Sky Studios, Magnus Games Studio, NPIPS, and Xhinobi Studio, attended the showcase.

The event opened with welcoming speeches by Dr. Tee Sim Hui, Deputy Dean of the School of Computing and Data Science (SCDS), and Ms. Heng Yu Ping, Head of Programme (DMT). This was followed by a networking session, providing an opportunity for industry guests, lecturers, and students to interact and share insights.

Students' projects were displayed on the A3 Ground Floor, organized into sections including board games, video games, VR/AR games, and Final Year Projects. Each booth was managed by at least one committee member or student helper, who guided visitors in experiencing the games. Meanwhile, video productions, including 2D/3D animation, non-linear editing, and audio-visual language projects, were screened at the Mini Cinema on Level 1 of the library.

The three-day event concluded on 25 October with a closing ceremony. Dr. Ahmad Affandi Supli delivered the closing speech and presented awards to the Top 3 Most Popular Game Booths and Video Projects, based on public voting.
