XMUM Students Win Third Prize at the 5th China University Contest on Intelligent Robotic Innovations
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre congratulates Yin Yue and Wu Minfeng as the 3rd Prize Winner of the 5th China University Contest on Intelligent Robotic Innovations. They are led by the team leader, Hu Jiaohao and advised by Dr. Li Mo from Central South University, China.
The title of their project is “Two-finger Two-arm Rubik’s Cube Robot (基于电气与电动的二指二臂魔方机器人)”. The structure of the robot consists of a robot frame, a Rubik’s cube positioner, a camera, and robotic arms. The configuration of the Rubik’s cube will be collected multiple times from different angles using the camera and robotic arms. Through the three-stage algorithm designed by the team, the optimal solution with the shortest time and fewest steps will be transmitted to solve the Rubik’s cube.
