Prof. Wang Xiaomei Publishes in Leading SSCI Journal on Malaysia’s Tianjin Community

Chinese Studies Student Publishes a Book on her XMUM Life
Zhang Lirou, a third-year Chinese Studies student from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), has recently published a book entitled I’m at XMUM: A Communication with Father. Written in the form of letters between Zhang Lirou and her father, this book records her three-year study and life at XMUM. The preface was written by Prof. Wang Xiaomei, Head of the Department of Chinese Studies.

Deputy Dean of XMU College of Humanities Visits XMUM
On 25 July 2019, Prof. Li Xiaohong, Deputy Dean of College of Humanities, Xiamen University (XMU) paid a visit to XMUM Department of Chinese Studies. Accompanied by Head of Department Prof. Wang Xiaomei, Prof. Li had a fruitful interaction with staff and students of the Chinese Studies Programme. XMUM Chinese Studies Students Head to XMU for Study Tour
41 staff and student representatives from the Chinese Studies Programme of Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) took a one-week study tour to Xiamen University China (XMU) during the April semester break.With the purpose of facilitating bonds between XMUM Chinese Studies Programme and XMU College of Humanities, this tour gave XMUM students an opportunity to have a taste of Chinese culture and gain a better understanding of the study options provided by Xiamen University.
