Dr. Ma Xiaofeng Publishes A Study of the Inscriptions on Bronze in Song Dynasty
Recently, A Study of the Inscriptions on Bronze in Song Dynasty authored by Dr. Ma Xiaofeng from Department of Chinese Studies, Xiamen University Malaysia, has been published by the Commercial Press, a leading cultural and educational publisher in China.
Dr. Hue Guan Thye & Chinese Studies Students Publish in SCI Q1 Journal
Center for Postgraduate Studies and Research (CPSR) congratulates Assoc. Prof. Dr. Hue Guan Thye, undergraduate student Tang Chang and master’s student Klan Choo Juhn Khai from Department of Chinese Studies and Center for Research on Southeast Asian Chinese Documents (CRSACD), Xiamen University Malaysia, on their publication of an article in Religions, an SCI-Q1 journal focusing on comprehensive studies of religious thought and practice. Dr. Hue Guan Thye, Director of CRSACD, is the first and corresponding author of this article.

Humanities Forum #11 - The Birth of Examination and Love
On 26 October 2021, the 11th talk of XMUM Humanities Forum - a lecture series held by Department of Chinese Studies, Xiamen University Malaysia - was held online.The Japanese historian Prof. Tatsuhiko Seo gave a public talk themed "The Birth of Examination and Love", transporting the hundreds of audience to the Tang Dynasty to see the collision of two social systems in the 9th century Chang'an City.

The Research Management Center congratulates Prof. Wang Xiaomei from XMUM’s Department of Chinese Studies on publishing a book entitled “The Sociolinguistic Studies on Malaysian Chinese Community” (《马来西亚华人社会语言研究》) with the Commercial Press, a leading publisher in China.This is the first book on the sociolinguistic situation of Malaysian Chinese community written in Chinese.
