XMUM x IPRMSA Launch Malaysia First-Ever Corporate Social Responsibility & Sustainable Development Goals Idea Pitching Competition: "RE:ACT"
The School of Communication from Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), in collaboration with the Institute of Public Relations Malaysia Student Association (IPRMSA) and its three chapters: XMUM, University of Wollongong Malaysia (UOW) and Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM), will host the first-ever Malaysian Idea Pitching Competition, “RE:ACT,” focused on Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).Event details are as below:

XMUM Students Shine at China National Advertising Competition
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre congratulates undergraduate students from the School of Communication (SOC) at Xiamen University Malaysia for winning seven awards at the 17th National Advertising Art Design Competition for College Students (Fujian Division), China.The standout achievement was a First Prize in the print advertising category, awarded to the collaborative work by Luo Yuxin (Advertising) and Zhu Shengying (Communication).
XMUM Study Explores Ethical Factors Behind Students' Use of ChatGPT
The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahadzadeh Ashrafsadat (first and corresponding author) and Prof. Dr. Wang Changsong from the School of Communication, for their recent research article published in Educational Technology & Society, an SSCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 6.3.This research project is conducted in collaboration with Dr. Wu Shin Ling from Sunway University, and financially supported by the Xiamen University Malaysia Research Fund (XMUMRF/2022-C9/IART/0014).
The 7th Stellar Prize Concludes with Record-Breaking Participation
The 7th Stellar Prize (TSP), organized by the School of Communication, Xiamen University Malaysia, was successfully concluded on 16 May 2025. This year, TSP attracted participants from 14 universities across Malaysia, including Taylor’s University, Sunway University, UTAR, and INTI International University. With over 400 submissions, the competition reached a record-breaking milestone with the highest number of entries since its inception.
3rd "Adversphere" Advertising Exhibition Showcases Gen Z's Creativity and Innovation
The 3rd "Adversphere" Advertising Graduate Showcase, organized by School of Communication at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM), officially opened on 13 March 2025. Over the course of three days, the exhibition brings together a diverse collection of student works, reflecting creativity, innovation, and social consciousness.
