"Bringing Consular Protection to Campus" Event Held at XMUM
On 10 April, the first "Bringing Consular Protection to Campus" event of 2026, organized by the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China in Malaysia, was held at Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM).The event was hosted by the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, organized by XMUM, and supported by the China Students Association Malaysia. More than 400 Chinese students from XMUM, the University of Malaya, Universiti Putra Malaysia and other institutions attended the session.
Winners Announced - XMUM's 10th Anniversary Essay Competition
Xiamen University Malaysia is pleased to announce the results of the 10th Anniversary Essay Competition and congratulate the winners on their outstanding work!The winners were chosen by a professional panel of judges, including Dr. Ng Kee Ong, Dr. Ooi Bee Peng, Ms. Li Xiaowen, Dr. Al-Saggaf Mohammad Ali Abdellah, Dr. Irina Ivanova, and representatives from the organizing committee. XMUM and First Hospital of Tsinghua University Co-Host Global Classroom on Skincare Science
On 19 March 2026, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) and the First Hospital of Tsinghua University held the second session of their Global Classroom series, themed 'Unlocking Your Glow: From Science to Self-Care". This online session brought together medical expertise from China with students in Malaysia, offering an interactive learning experience across borders. The event also marked a special part of XMUM's 10th anniversary celebrations.

Dr. Ang Bin Yee: The Unconventional Journey of a "Screen Child"
She loved watching Disney animated films as a child and once worked long "9-to-7" days as a visual effects artist. She is a devoted fan of Hayao Miyazaki and a scholar with a strong voice in film studies. She is Dr. Ang Bin Yee, lecturer at the School of Communication, Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM).
