The team's strong performance results from the joint academic training and guidance provided by instructors from both Xiamen University (XMU) and XMUM.
The XMUM team was supervised by Prof. Dr. Chen Shaodong, with academic guidance provided by Dr. Lim Chee Hoong. Meanwhile, as the students are currently undertaking clinical internships at XMU’s affiliated hospitals, they received on-site guidance and support during the competition from Assoc. Prof. Dr. Lyu Chongshan, Asst. Prof. Dr. Chen Zexu, and Dr. Li Zhaohua from the XMU main campus.
In preparation for the competition, the XMUM students trained closely with the XMU team, which also participated in the event. Through a combination of online and offline sessions, the students engaged in joint study, case analysis, and in-depth discussions, strengthening their understanding of classical Chinese medicine and promoting academic exchange between the two campuses.
