The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Chew Zhi Ling, Koh Qi Qi, Chu Eng Eng, Asst. Prof. Dr. Kua Yin Leng (corresponding author), Assoc. Prof. Dr. Tan Khang Wei, and Dr. Terri Lee Zhuan Ean from the School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for their recent publication in International Journal of Biological Macromolecules, a SCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 8.2.
PhD Student Awarded IChemE Andrew Legacy Bursary 2024 for Catalysis Summer School
Ooi Khim May, a PhD student in Chemical Engineering at Xiamen University Malaysia, has been awarded the prestigious Andrew Legacy Bursary for the year 2024 session.This bursary allows up to 20 PhD, EngD or MSc students to attend the week-long summer school, “Catalysis: Fundamentals and Practice”, which will be held at the University of Liverpool from 24 to 28 June 2024. Offered by the Institution of Chemical Engineers (IChemE) under the Andrew Legacy Scheme, this bursary aims to support researchers working on projects related to heterogeneous catalysis.

The Research and Postgraduate Centre congratulates Lau Hui Shen, Angelica Eugenia, Weng Ying and Prof. Ir. Dr. Yong Wai Fen from the Department of Chemical Engineering, School of Energy and Chemical Engineering for the recent review article published in Progress in Materials Science, an SCI Q1 journal with the latest impact factor of 37.4, ranking as a top journal in Material Science category.
