Planting for a Greener and Better Campus
1176 trees and 3080 shrubs were planted in Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 11 Nov 2018, adding of greenery and vibrancy to the campus. YB Tan Kok Wai, Malaysian Prime Minister’s Special Envoy to China, launched the Eco-Green Awareness Campaign as the guest of honor and remarked on the importance of the event.“Tree planting helps to restore greenery and beautify homes.”

XMUM Students Win 4 Silver Prizes in China "Internet+" Competition
XMUM students brought back four (4) silver medals from the final competition of the 4th China College Students “Internet+” Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition, the world’s largest competition of its kind. University of Sussex Representative Shares Postgraduate Study Options with XMUM Students
On 23 October 2018, Ms Lilian ChuaLilian Chua, Regional Manager of University of Sussex visited Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) to share about opportunities the students can gain if they choose to pursue postgraduate study at University of Sussex. Sussex is ranked 39th in the world for Media and Communication, Geography and Politics and 50th for Business and Economics, according to Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2018-19.
