Gym Supervisor - Procurement & Asset Management Office
Role and Key Responsibilities
- Monitor daily gym operations including cleanliness, equipment checks, and safety protocols.
- Enforce gym rules, regulations, and SOPs to ensure proper use of facilities and equipment.
- Supervise, guide, and coordinate gym assistants, including duty scheduling, task assignment, and task performance.
- Coordinate with vendors for repairs, equipment servicing, and supply deliveries.
- Arrange routine preventive maintenance and assist during maintenance or third-party inspections.
- Handle incidents, injuries, disputes, or emergencies, and liaise with relevant departments.
- Maintain proper records including inspection checklists, incident reports, maintenance logs, and lost & found items.
- Assist in handling user feedback, complaints, and operational issues.
- Support implementation and review of gym SOPs and safety measures.
- Perform any other duties related to gym operations as assigned by management.
Requirements / Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Science, Sports Management, Facility Management, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Knowledge of gym equipment safety, basic risk management, and emergency handling procedures.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills; able to handle users professionally.
- Responsible, proactive, and able to work independently.
- Basic first aid certification is an added advantage.
- Passion for fitness and people development is a plus.
