XMUM Students Excel in 2024 Nestle CEO Challenge
The Innovation and Entrepreneurship Centre congratulates a team of undergraduate students -Han Wei (Mathematics), Guo Bingjie (E-commerce), and Zhang Zhongyu (Accounting) - for achieving successful results in the prestigious 2024 Nestle CEO Challenge. The team showcased their skills and innovative thinking in this global competition which attracted over 700 participating teams.

The Nestle CEO Challenge is a global, multi-stage competition that invites students to tackle real-world business challenges. The competition features three main tracks: Product Innovation, AI Digitalization, and Sustainability. Participants develop solutions aiming to have a positive impact on Nestle's operations and sustainability goals. It provides students with the opportunity to apply their skills in a competitive environment, addressing challenges in product innovation, AI digitalization, and sustainability. It aims to nurture future business leaders by offering a platform for creative and strategic problem-solving.
The team demonstrated exceptional dedication and strategic thinking from the beginning. Competing among over 700 teams, they secured a place in the semifinals, ranking among the top 25 teams. They refined their project and advanced to the finals, where they competed against teams from prestigious universities worldwide. Ultimately, their efforts earned them a spot in the Top 6, highlighting their capability and hard work.
