Vice Chancellor of Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) Prof. Datin Paduka Dato' Dr. Aini Ideris led her team to visit Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) on 4 April 2018.

Prof. Dr. Aini was accompanied by UPM Deputy Vice Chancellors for Academic and International, for Students’ Affairs and Alumni, for Industry and Community Relations, and the heads of UPM’s Corporate Strategy and Communications Office, Library, Research Management Centre, Bursar Office, Center of Academic Development, and Office of the Vice Chancellor.

The UPM delegation was warmly welcomed by XMUM President Prof. Wang Ruifang, Assistant President Dr. Zhang Ying, and the heads of XMUM’s Academic Office, Library, IT Office, Finance Office, and Research and Innovation Office.

Prof. Dr. Aini was deeply impressed by the development of XMUM and looked forward to building a cooperation relationship between UPM and XMUM. Prof. Wang Ruifang also expressed strong desire to form a close partnership with UPM so that the two universities could collaborate with each other for mutual benefits.

The UPM delegation toured around the campus and visited the research and teaching labs of XMUM, including analytical chemistry lab, molecular biology lab, protein analysis lab, and flow cytometey lab.
