XMUM Welcomes New Students with Full Resumption of Physical Classes
XMUM welcomes over 1,200 new students for September 2022 academic session, with all classes resuming physical mode. Due to Covid-19, the campus has been closed from early 2020 until April 2022 and all teaching and learning activities had been moved online.

XMUM Holds Convocation Ceremonies for Graduating Classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022
The Second, Third and Forth Convocation Ceremonies of XMUM were held in August and December 2022 for the graduating classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022, whose studies have been heavily impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic.
In particular, the convocations for graduating classes of 2020 and 2021 had to be postponed until after the campus reopening. The university had considered the option of holding online convocation ceremonies during the pandemic, but had decided against that because the significance of online convocations cannot compare with holding the actual ceremonies in university auditorium, where the graduands can come on stage to have their tassels turned and have this important moment of their lives witnessed by their family members and fellow students. The solemn convocation ceremonies held in the university auditorium did not disappoint and were indeed worth the long wait.
XMUM’s classes of 2020, 2021 and 2022 have a total of 2,969 students from 15 bachelor’s degree programmes and 2 master’s programmes, including 1,422 international student students. Despite all the challenges brought by the Covid-19 pandemic, the students have demonstrated outstanding employment prospect and academic potential.
