Six XMUM Scholars Successfully Secure Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) 2022

The Research and Postgraduate Centre wishes to congratulate all scholars who have been successful in obtaining the Fundamental Research Grant Scheme (FRGS) from the Ministry of Higher Education Malaysia in 2022 and received a total of RM 692,552.00 for six projects.

These projects are from School of Mathematics and Physics, School of Energy and Chemical Engineering, School of Electrical Engineering and Artificial Intelligence, as well as School of Economics and Management.

To date, there are 28 research projects from 27 XMUM faculty members funded by the FRGS grant. The philosophy of FRGS is to promote fundamental research that can generate that can contribute to the improvement of intellectual level, the invention of new technologies and the enrichment of a dynamic culture in line with the national aspirations.
