Newcastle University (UK) Signs MOU with XMUM
A Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed between Newcastle University and Xiamen University Malaysia (XMUM) recently. Newcastle University is a member of the the elite Russell Group of research-intensive universities and is ranked 141 in the world by QS. It won the Teaching Excellence Framework Gold Award in 2017 and has been ranked 7th for student experience by the Times Higher Education Student Experience Survey for seven years in a row. In terms of employability and further studies opportunities, 95% of Newcastle graduates progress into work force or further study within six months of graduation. On top of that, studying at Newcastle University can give student the chance to learn about different cultures as Newcastle has students from over 140 countries worldwide.
On Newcastle University’s website (https://www.ncl.ac.uk/postgraduate/), interested students can find helpful information on its postgraduate programmes, careers and employability, funding and finance, student life and a step-by-step guide for application. The International Study Guide for postgraduate degrees is also available on the website.
Newcastle representatives are scheduled to visit XMUM again next semester. Students who wish to know more about Newcastle and want to have the opportunity to directly talk to Newcastle representatives can start to reserve seats for the Newcastle’s presentation.
